Biography:

During the first five years of my professional career, I served as an attorney in private practice doing primarily insurance defense litigation work at law firms in Buffalo, NY and Washington, D.C. In this capacity, I represented numerous clients in medical malpractice, premises liability, asbestos, and employment law cases. Following my time in private legal practice and for approximately 12 years, I worked for three different fortune 500 companies in the telecommunications and financial services industries and held roles as an internal investigator, employee relations specialist, ethics officer and corporate compliance executive. In several of these roles, I had the opportunity to develop ethics and leadership training programs, employee codes of conduct, policies and procedures, conflict of interest disclosure programs, and corporate communications strategies aligned with ethical guidelines. Following my time in the corporate world, I gained experience in athlete management and small business consulting and have had the opportunity to work with clients in regions throughout the United States and internationally.

I began teaching in the MPS Psychology of Leadership program in 2016 and accepted an opportunity to teach full-time in the program in 2018. My areas of focus include a continued commitment to assist in the development of the program and to assist students in their efforts to progress into leadership roles within their chosen industries.
